THE SECOND DOOR is published in Class, the HG Wells Short Story Competition’s, 2015 anthology. Three hundred years after humanity discovers what happens after death, two young boys plan their early exit through the second door, to avoid facing the trials of everyday life. Available to purchase through: Amazon and Trencavel.

Excerpt: Nico sits in his bedroom gazing at the photo of his family: his mother and father, gaunt, stringy, parallel lines, stand behind their two skinny children. He runs a finger down the face of each one. Before school starts, he will have “accidentally” passed through the second door. It must look accidental. It must. His family don’t deserve Limbo.
